What do Chick-fil-A, Etsy and Delta Airlines have in common? The same thing as Domino's and Sam's Club.
All are ranked as top downloaded apps in their respective category (restaurant, shopping and travel), according to you — the consumer.
The top downloaded apps are broken down by the top app stores: Google Play's top downloaded apps and App Store's top downloaded apps and each boasts a user rating score.
In the restaurant category Chick-fil-A took tops among App Store users, with a top score of 4.93 (our of a potential five). But over at the Google Play store Domino's dominated with a score of 4.75.
Wingstop landed in second place in the App Store but didn't show among the top 10 most downloaded restaurant apps in Google Play.
When it comes to shopping, Etsy took first with App Store users, scoring 4.9 but landed second among Google Play users with a rating of 4.8. Sam's Club claimed the top Google Play spot with a 4.9.
Among travelers, Delta Airlines grabbed the top spot in both app stores, scoring a 4.9 from App Store users and a tiny bit lower score, 4.8, among Google Play users.

In the restaurant category seven fan favorites appeared on the most downloaded apps at both app stores: Chick-fil-A, Subway, Starbucks, Dunkin, Domino's, Taco Bell and McDonald's.
Wingstop took second place in the App Store but didn't make a showing on the Google Play list, and the same is true for Wendy's, which ranked eighth on the App Store list but was nowhere to be found on the Google Play list. Panera Bread ranked sixth on Google Play but failed to break into the top 10 on the App Store ranking.
When it comes to shopping just six brand apps made it onto both top downloaded app lists. Etsy took first in the App Store and second on the Google Play board. Walmart landed in tenth place at the App Store, but was a bit higher — at spot five — on Google Play's list. Lululemon took second on App Store, but is missing from the top 10 on Google Play, and the same with Target, landing in fourth on App Store and nowhere on Google Play's top 10 downloaded apps. The Alibaba app ranked eighth with Google Play users, but didn't break into the top 10 with App Store consumers. Costco hit number six with App Store consumers, but is missing from the top 10 of Google Play's most downloaded apps.
Over in the travel spectrum the rankings are similar to the restaurant category where there are three apps not landing on both rankings. Lyft and Uber landed at spots two and three among App Store users and don't appear on the top 10 at the Google Play store. IHG and Priceline ranked second and fourth respectively on Google Play but failed to hit the App Store rankings. Hilton made both rankings, landing in tenth spot on each.
