Chipotle rewarding college students with extra points, dorm decor

Chipotle is giving back to students with its new Chipotle U Rewards program, designed to reward every part of the college experience. It's the first-ever loyalty program from a major national restaurant brand created exclusively for college students.

Students who enroll will score 1,000 bonus points and earn 20% more points on every purchase, helping them get free Chipotle faster.

To celebrate the launch, Chipotle has teamed up with Urban Outfitters to create the limited-edition A Little Extra Dorm Collection, which features dorm decor inspired by Chipotle menu items. The collection is available Thursday or at urbanoutfitters.com and in select Urban Outfitters stores in prominent college towns.

How to Enroll

• Log in to your Chipotle Rewards account at chipotle.com or create a new one.
• Validate your college enrollment through ID.me by visiting chipotle.com/chipotle-u-rewards.
• Once enrolled, you'll instantly receive 1,000 bonus points and will earn 12 points for every $1 spent at Chipotle— an increase of 20% over the standard 10 points per dollar.
