Geek Retreat launches loyalty app to reward customers

Geek Retreat, a retailer/gaming cafe/community hub and events venue in the U.K, has launched an app to rewards its loyalty customer base.

Customers using the app earn 20% back in v£, a digital discount voucher, which can be redeemed in store and other brands such as Uber and Tesco.

Geek Retreat has rolled out the app to 27 of its stores and aims to offer the program across the entire estate by spring. In the few months since launch, over 3,000 customers have signed up, with 14,000 transactions and increasing daily.

The Geek Retreat franchise, which opened its first store in Glasgow in 2013, now has 31 stores.
