Hilton partners with Explora Journals for loyalty points redemption

Hilton has partnered with Explora Journeys to allow Hilton Honors members to book, earn and redeem loyalty points on cruise voyages, according to a press release.

The collaboration, which debuts Hilton Honors Adventures, an extension of the hotel chain's loyalty program focusing on experiential travel, will take effect by summer 2026. Members will be able to utilize their points for sailings aboard Explora Journeys' fleet, with itineraries covering destinations like the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Caribbean.

"Explora Journeys defines the pinnacle of luxury ocean travel," Chris Silcock, president of global brands and commercial services for Hilton, said in the release. "This exciting new partnership creates the perfect moment to launch Hilton Honors Adventures, introducing new ways for our members to experience iconic destinations."

To celebrate the announcement, Hilton Honors members can access a limited-time preview offer through June 7, 2026. This allows members booking any Explora Journey to receive 100,000 Hilton Honors bonus points per suite and a welcome gift. Additionally, guests receive up to a $400 onboard credit on 16 featured itineraries, or a $200 credit on all others.

The partnership aims to combine the benefits of the Hilton Honors program with the luxury ocean travel sector, offering its more than 235 million members an expanded way to use their loyalty benefits at sea.
