Nordstrom's Nordy Club members will stop earning loyalty points for purchases at Nordstrom Rack stores or online at nordstromrack.com beginning June 3, according to the company's website.
Nordy Club cardholders who use their Nordstrom credit card at Nordstrom Rack locations and online will receive a 5% discount on eligible purchases at the time of sale. Exclusions apply, including gift cards, alterations and taxes. The discount will not apply to purchases made using Apple Pay, PayPal, or Afterpay, even if linked to a Nordstrom card.
Other payment methods will not accrue reward points.
Nordstrom Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Deniz Anders said the decision was made to "introduce exclusive benefits to Nordstrom Rack customers, delivering great brands at great prices with even more perks each time they shop with us."
The new benefits will include instant discounts, special promotions and early access to new arrivals for Nordstrom Rack shoppers.
