Potbelly loyalty program offers more rewards earned faster

Sandwich shop Potbelly's reimagined loyalty program, called Potbelly Perks, now offers all new benefits, the ability to earn rewards faster and more of the menu available for reward redemption.

Potbelly has also replaced the Points program with bankable Coins. Points from the earlier version of the loyalty program will be converted to Coins. Members earn Coins based on the amount spend per visit. Customers earn 10 Coins for every $1 spent and higher member levels earn more Coins per dollar. The program has a Rookie, Pro and Boss tier.

Previously fans had to wait until they had enough points (1,000) to earn a reward for a free entrée. Now members can earn rewards in as little as one or two visits and have access to the entire menu. Redeeming begins at 200 Coins.

The company has also updated its Potbelly App and website with a new look that introduces fans to all new aspects of the membership program.

The restaurant will hold 2x Coin days through the year and offers members a free Cookie or Dream Bar on their birthday.
