Southwest launches holiday points promotion

Southwest Airlines has launched a Points for a Purpose Holiday program giving Rapid Rewards members an incentive to increase giving by donating to select nonprofits now through Dec. 14.

Those who donate $25 or more will earn 10 Rapid Rewards points per dollar.

The donation recipient list includes Make-A-Wish, Canine Companions for Independence, Guide Dogs of America and Rescue America.

Rapid Rewards account information required. Points will be reflected in your Rapid Rewards account within 45 days after a donation has been made.
